Welcome to The Family Badger!

I'm Mrs Badger, wife to Mr Badger and mother to Little Badger, we became a family in March 2012 when Little Badger came crashing into our world. Since then we've been having to learn fast, everyday brings a new set of challenges and rewards.

Since moving into our first family home we realised money was a bit tight, after talking to friends and family I realised that money issues are SO common, especially with another mouth to feed, this is when we knew that we needed to do something about it. A lovely friend of mine helped me with meal planning and passing on some super cheap and tasty recipes she'd learnt to cook in her student days, a few other friends had also told me some hints and tips to save money around the home. So this is where this blog comes in, I'd like to share with you some great thrifty, penny pinching ideas that will help you to not only save money but also be a bit kinder to the environment as well.

Here at The Family Badger we are passionate about our planet, we try to be as eco friendly as we can and hope that one day we will have a green space that we can call our own, I'd like to invite you to follow us on our journey of ups and downs to our dream.
